I wonder if this will be about cryonics, and thus the 
pseudonym?  Benford has been heavily promoting a related
idea, sampling and freezing tropical flora & fauna so
we don't lose their DNA information to extinction.

I haven't seen any good stories extrapolating the cryonics 
techniques & culture as it's actually developing today.  It would 
make for fascinating reading; certainly the factual soap opera
as recorded in _Cryonics_ magazine and on CryoNet is 
mighty interesting.  (And yes, I'm considering signing up).
