Subject: "source" claims John Henry used invalid POA

>>Hours after Red Sox legend Ted Williams died, his
only son used an expired power of attorney to ship the
slugger's body to an Arizona laboratory, where it has
remained upside down and frozen, the Herald has
learned.

John Henry Williams, 33, signed his own name to
documents from the Alcor Life Extension Foundation on
July 5, indicating he had power of attorney.

But that legal authority Williams signed over to his
son in 1996 expired hours earlier when the Splendid
Splinter died, attorneys have said.

``The minute his dad died, the power of attorney
wasn't any good anymore,'' said a source. ``He knew
that.''

The revelation calls into question whether Williams'
body was properly handled by John Henry Williams.

Hmm, this anonymous source sure has a lot of
information.
