Rudi,

Someone awhile back posted what I thought was an
EXCELLENT suggestion regarding where to find
prospective cryonauts. Adventure seekers. (I wish I
could recall who it was, as they deserve
credit/attribution. Can someone help out here?)

The adventurous. Folks who love life in the extreme.
Who demonstrably can't get enough, and are always
searching for the next, bigger rush. People who want
more.

The ad in the back of the magazine(s) might go
something like this:

You wake up each morning, your pulse racing with
excitement. Life is ...dazzling. You can't get
enough. You cannot fathom--and feel saddened
for--those who don't experience the joy and wonder.
Zorba is your role model. Your 'native land' is out
of the box and beyond the envelope. The love you
share with your tribe of fellow adventurers is as
incandescent as your lust for life.

Enthusiasm is your watchword. Enthusiasm in the
ancient Greek sense.

That's why you read this magazine, and why you're
searching the ads for the next--perhaps the
"ultimate"--adventure.

Well, guess what? You've found it. The ultimate
adventure. The adventure beyond imagination.

Over the top? Exaggeration? Maybe. But,...maybe
not. It's your call. Got enthusiasm?

enthusiasm ( n-th z - z em) noun

(Archaic) Ecstasy arising from supposed possession by
a god.

[Late Latin enth siasmus, from Greek enthousiasmos,
from enthousiazein, to be inspired by a god, from
entheos, possessed : en-, in. See en-2 + theos, god.]

"possession by a god," recorded in English (1603).
Enthusiasm in this sense goes back to the Greek word
enthousiasmos, which ultimately comes from the
adjective entheos, "having the god within," formed
from en-, "in, within," and theos, "god."

         -------------------------------

Then when they get to your website, tell them about
youth, health, beauty, the exploration of the
possible,(inner and outer), and the quest of eons--the
personal quest--for the wellspring of life, and its
destiny in a passionate universe.

Sell the sizzle, ...then fill out the paperwork.

None of the above is engraved in stone, but you get
the picture.

Best, Jeff Davis
