Ws a "Bionaire digital temperature monitor"?  I assume that
something that keeps track of the maximum and minimum, as
well as the average, temperature over a given time period
would be most useful, but I don't know how much such a
device would cost or if you have one.  Having the temperature
go up to 95 and down to 35 could explain high mortality in
the face of an average temperature of 65.

Oh -- do you always do your measurements at about the same
time of day?
