Hi!

Some comments for Redin, Price, and Badger:

1. If cryonics does not eventually work, I think many people
   would be disappointed and consider that it had failed. And
   yes, failure can be helpful too, but not in the sense 
   intended by those who failed. I was not considering failure
   of cryonics in the sense you meant it.

2. For M. Price: strictly speaking you are correct. However 
   I'd be willing to make a small bet that when electronic
   or other means of storage become frequently used, they
   will be referred to as cryonic suspension, too. 

3. For Scott Badger: yes, organic devices are subject to lots
   of errors. But funny thing, anything we make will be 
   subject to errors: electronic, mechanical, mathematical...
   it is the nature of the universe, not just organic things
   that they are subject to mistakes, errors, and confusion.
   We will not free ourselves of these problems merely by
   changing our forms.

   But still, I apologize for misunderstanding you.
