Subject: Video tapes

Well, there were tapes made of the the Asilomar Conference. I know because
I spent over 34 hours editing them. Fred and Linda Chamberlain and Greg
Prentiss also spent a lot of time on these tapes. The tapes of Glenna
Burmer, Steve Valentine and Gred Fahy could not be sold as we could not get
authorization from the speakers to do so. Many of the other speakers did
give ALCOR permission to sell tapes of their presentations. ALCOR is the
place to find these tapes. Contact Jennefier Chapman at ALCOR, for more
information.
By the way these same folks would not allow any of their presentations to be
used in "The ALCOR adventure", the video tape I made last year.
I do not know if this conference will be video taped or not. My feeling is
that it will not. While my services have been free, I believe the costs and
hassle, and dealing with other variables is just not worth it, when you
consider the number of tapes that would eventually be sold. Only ALCOR has
this answer.
Sincerely
Billy H. Seidel
