I think the same must hold true in most countries under a name or another. It 
seems a good alternative to insurance or speculative stock market. In forty 
years, I have never seen a crash in the real estate domain. At least it 
evolves as inflation, so you can't loss. If you rent your property, you get a 
cash return on a value garanteed capital.

This is a better basis that eratic speculation on the NYSE or similar places 
to fund cryonics.
