One of the suggestions I have received from a cryonicists is to incorporate
survival capabilities in Creekside/Ventureville. The suggestions so far are to
have:

1. Capacity to make electricity. (solar power and wind power)

2. Self-supporting. (We have our own water supply and if we had #1 above, we
could pump all the water we would ever need, even if there was a big disaster
elsewhere. We usually have 20,000 gallons of water in our storage tank on the
hill).

3. Ability to obtain food and survival supplies. (We will keep a pretty good
store of food, since we have a small restaurant on site. We also have planted
a large number of fruit trees. There is a lot of wild game in the area [and
big ranches])
4. Ability to survive a disaster. (The facility has a basement.)

I am not much of a survival advocate, but I am interested in ways of being
prepared for most anything. If anyone on this forum has an interest in these
sort of things, please contact me as I am gathering ideas and suggestions.
