Isn't that sort of like saying, "after a person stops breathing and his 
heart stops beating, that person is dead, and the idea that someone will 
develop the technology to revive dead people one day is mysticism."

Catch my drift???

Death is not an event, it is a process.  Medical science is continually 
pushing back the line between what is "alive" and what is "dead." 
 Perhaps Dr. Ettinger could expound on this point, as he knows far more 
about the relevant science than I do.
