Such people could have more chance than average to get an interesting technological idea, so it make sense to have such "riches" in a society. Unfortunately, that time seems over. Oh yes, poor us, all the good ideas are gone. If only we lived way back in the Golden Age of the 1990s. Yvan, most of the rich nerds from the 1990s are still alive (Gary Kildall was an exception, not the rule... I guess he was really from the '80s). Many of these nerds actually like the idea of cryonics. Things have never been better (they've never been very good, but what do you want for nothing?) >Now if you assume that money falls on someone by mere chance and bright ideas too, Then you're unlikely to make any money or have any ideas. (Not saying I haven't spent my time waiting for both to fall on me....) Dani, aren't you supposed to be yelling at Yvan today? Maybe we could set up a schedule. --part1_145.65aa2a2.2b406a5b_boundary Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" [ AUTOMATICALLY SKIPPING HTML ENCODING! ] Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=20732
