Questions for Brian:
Why two refrigerators? Is one for backup? Or does it just take
two to cool the area you have in mind? (If it takes two, do we need a
third for backup, or can one keep the room cool for long enough to
repair the other?)
Is the annual operating cost of $5,000 for one refrigerator unit,
or two? And does that include the 10,000-hour maintenance? (10K hours is
close enough to a year that I'd do it annually and be safe.)
What is the service life of such a system?
I think I agree with your conclusion that LN2 is still the way
to go, but I don't follow all your numbers on the refrigerator costs.

Your latest design still uses square cells. Is there a problem
with hexagons? It's certainly the most efficient way to use the space.
