Like others who have posted here I am saddened by what has happened but
hopeful and confident you'll do okay, Rudi. (I didn't see your posting when
it came out--too snowed with work to look at Cryonet that day--so I'm
slowed down responding.) You have my deep and heartfelt respect for your
honesty and integrity, and the services you have performed for the cryonics
community over the years. I also think your posting was very on-topic; no
doubt depression is a factor in people not signing up or in letting their
arrangements lapse after they once have them in place. As cryonicists we
need to "keep rappin'"--especially when things aren't going just right--to
avoid the kind of tailspin that could lead, ultimately, to "other
arrangements" besides cryosuspension or not a very good suspension. (I've
certainly seen both.)
