Subject: cryonics funding

My understanding from the dealings I've recently had with
probate (sigh) is that funeral arrangements get first claim
on any estate. If we can have cryonics arrangements declared
as funeral arrangements, people with suitable-size estates
could pay that way (if, say, there were no insurance policy,
or it had lapsed). It would also allow people to get one of
the "funeral expenses" insurance policies that I've heard
about (which would have the added advantage of not requiring
the "evidence of insurability" that seems to keep people
from getting life insurance).

Could someone more knowlegeable please comment? Thanks!
