Ok, this and other replies answer my question. Even if no information is
ever lost and can always be recovered "in principle", it cannot be recovered
"in practice". That is, of course, within our current understanding of
physical laws. Maybe some future development in physics will change that,
but in the meantime cryonics is still the most viable option. Thank you all
