Michael Jackson is somewhat known for unconventional behavior, but he is
also known for having quite a bit of wealth.  Cryonics and longevity
research could always use a monetary shot in the arm, and it could
potentially have some tax benefits if done properly.

However, I do not know if the hypothetical publicity (if any) would be good
or bad.  Does anyone have an opinion?  (Was the Ted Williams cryonics issue
beneficial, or harmful?)

I had recalled that Michael Jackson was said to have been sleeping in a
hyperbaric chamber for longevity purposes.  But this appears to have been a
publicity stunt:
