Hello again.

I skimmed over a few of the messages in the past few days. I would like to
comment on a couple of points, but please forgive me as I did not thoroughly
read the postings this week, so if my comments have already been addressed by
others, then please forgive my repetition.

I think that cryonics would greatly benefit from the support of a zillionaire
such as Michael Jackson. I think that discussing cryonics frequently and openly
in the media piques people's curiosity, and makes it a more familiar subject.
The more that people are exposed to the idea, the more natural it becomes to
them. Of course that exposes us to a proportionally greater part of the
population that would be vehemently opposed to it, but so what? It would also
perhaps attract the interest of many more people than now.

Also, if we could get someone like MJ interested enough, he would probably
invest a portion of his fortune on cryonics research and facilities..thus
increasing his own odds of survival. Hell, if I won the lottery tomorrow, you
can bet that a large portion of my new found wealth would go towards cryonics.
I'm sure that there are many other celebrities that are either life
extensionists or potential life extensionists. Their collective wealth could go
a long way to furthering cryonics, transhumanism, etc.

I suggest someone try to reach him and ask him how far his interest goes. What
about Woody Allen, or Liz Taylor? Are there any others?

I think cryonicists need to take a bold step and come out of the closet..I know
I have both professionally and personally made my position known to others. When
I complete my "information package for health care professionals" I fully
intend to distribute it to my colleagues, in an attempt to increase acceptance
and knowledge regarding this concept.
Any thoughts?
Christine Gaspar
