I am only into the second chapter. Has anyone else read it? Yes, I read it some years ago. From what I remember, the novel looked at many and varied hypotheses about the possibility of immortality. I enjoyed most of it, but as, towards the end, it tried to get into areas concerning the ultimate fate of the universe it seemed less convincing. But I seemed to recall that I always wanted to know what was going to happen next, which is always the sign of a good novel. Another one you may find enjoyable is Linda Nagata's "Tech Heaven". -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz: http://John.deRivaz.com for websites including Cryonics Europe, Longevity Report, The Venturists, Porthtowan, Alec Harley Reeves - inventor, Arthur Bowker - potter, de Rivaz genealogy, Nomad .. and more Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=21169
