Subject: I made error  -  need information on organ transplants.

 In a recent Cryonet post, I said that biologically live organs are harvested 
from legally dead people.  A friend or mine send me additional information:  
Organs for transplant are harvested from living patients who are declared 
brain dead.
If cardiac arrest is the cause of death, those organs are not used.

Does anyone on the forum know of exceptions to this rule -  perhaps in other  
countries?
