X-Message-Number: 21303 Date: Thu, 27 Feb 2003 14:48:34 +0000 From: Kennita Watson <> Subject: lying/hanging/etc. Lest anyone misunderstand, my previous message was about *CHOICE*. If someone (or that someone's family) is squeamish about hanging, or about not having a coffin, I would rather they sign up for a "recumbent" suspension than none at all. Just make the choices clear (safety considerations and all), and make appropriate disclaimers, and impose appropriate charges, for a given choice. Hell, I'd just as soon we got big enough that we could offer a choice of dewar colors! And maybe I could get a governmment grant to study how well different varieties of wood hold up to LN2 temperature! :-) Cars come in colors besides black because people want *CHOICE* -- and that doesn't make the cars less safe.
