Loook at this thing:
    - 0: Successful reanimations.
    - 0: Attempted reanimations.
Or how about:
Still, the attention has not drawn a significant number of new
members, said Lemler, who resembles the late poet Allen Ginsberg.
Who cares? Not only is the quality of the reporting poor, but it is
heavily biased."

Good observation!
In the old days of cryonics this would have considered one of the better
articles on Alcor. I got a feeling (when I was being interviewed by this
reporter) that he felt he needed to get some sensationalism and yet not look
completely like the National Inquirer. Its almost as if cryonics would be
boring in these newer times, if there was not something unusual about a
particular patient.

As I said in an earlier post. A negative spin like this reported tried to
install has little or no effect on those people who might consider cryonics -
they spelled Alcor correctly, Dr. Lemler did a wonderful job (I am sure he is
aware of the potential negative spin some reporters are going to think they
need to get more people to read their particular article - and Jerry used the
story to Alcor's great advantage with those that count).

Alcor can't avoid bad reporters but they can get good milage out of them.
Keep up the good work Alcor.

David
