You may want to keep an eye out for what turns up on the following websites
(and or cherry pick what is there already):

http://www.imminst.org/
http://www.longevitymeme.org/
http://www.transhumanism.com/

The latter in particular is published under creative commons. The others
merely require a reprint request to the authors in question. The staff at
http://www.betterhumans.com/ will probably also give you very good terms on
reprints from their archives.

I write a bi-weekly newsletter (back issues at
http://www.extropy.org/bbs/index.php?board=65;action=display;threadid=54357,
signup at http://www.longevitymeme.org/newsletter) that may be useful
material for you, if slightly reworked/reframed. I'd have to hear interest
before diverting time for that of course :)

Best of luck with the magazine: we need more people trying hard to get the
culture of life extension kick started and up with the mainstream.
