The reality is that the US economy can't support for a long time such spending added to a giant debt and reduced taxes income. Cutting welfare is what is done, the cost after some years is catastrophic: More violence, less education, more unempoyment, more drug, and on and on. This is the recipe to turn a monern country into one on the way to underdevelopment. Don't forget, the US education system is now under the one of Greece and Portugal, the last two countries of European Union. The same can be said of the healt system, only UK and now Poland do worst on this side of the pond. I don't comment more, James Swayze has done the job on that the right way.
