X-Message-Number: 22528 Date: Mon, 15 Sep 2003 11:34:23 -0700 (PDT) From: Scott Badger <> Subject: 10th Congress of The International Association of Biomedical Gerontology FYI "Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence: Reasons Why Genuine Control of Aging may be Foreseeable" Chaired by Aubrey De Gray "The purpose of the IABG is (1) to make the general public more aware of the potential of biomedical aging research to increase the span of healthy productive life and to decrease the social and economic problems of age; and (2) to promote greater communication among the worldwide community of individuals engaged in biomedical aging research. The congress will continue and extend the superlative quality that IABG meetings have maintained since the Association's founding in 1985. The calibre of these meetings can be seen from the proceedings volumes, which since 1991 have been published as volumes of the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences" --------------- Dr. Jerry Lemler will speak next Monday the 22nd at 12:20, coincidentally following Steven Austad, highly respected longevity researcher who happens to work here at the University of Idaho with me (different departments). Note that there are links to the previous congresses. Links to Congresses 7, 8, and 9 provide abstracts and full texts for the presentations. This is a gold mine for those interested in increasing their healthy life span. http://www.gen.cam.ac.uk/iabg10/Program.htm Best regards to all, ===== Scott Badger, Ph.D. Member: ALCOR, Extropy Insitute, Life Extension Foundation Assistant Professor/Researcher-University of Idaho Two Original CD's "Phenom" and "Burdens" available at: www.mp3.com/scottbadger __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
