A Frozen Dog is Needed today. Ever since I read the story about Ev Cooper
taking a frozen dog as an exhibit to a hotel in Washington, D.C. where Humane
Society (Peta types) descended on him and caused a big ruckus. It was big time
media coverage.

Where is that kind of publicity flair in cryonics today? Our ideas are never
going to get discussed in the general society unless we think of creative ways
to promote the idea that you don't have to die.

Let's face it, a thousand preachers make millions of dollars offering bogus
resurrection these days.

We have something that has a lot more validity than what these guys are pedaling
and we are a tiny poor group of people in comparison.

There is a major merchandising failure by nearly all the cryonics groups. I'm
sure FM20/30, one of my heroes,

would not have minded his frozen persona put on display, even taken around the
country to book fairs, etc. Imagine the fascination!!

It might have enriched his estate as well. And he would have a real "presence"
at the book fairs he attended. His suspended head would probably get more
coverage then the best selling authors.

Oh well, after Ev Cooper caught the media eye with his frozen dog, it has all
been downhill. We need some promotion. We need to put cryonics up in the
public's face.
