Since we have signed fewer than 1 person in 250,000 in the
United States (0.0004 percent of one of the wealthiest
nations in the world) obviously cost is not the primary
factor. OBVIOUSLY, right, David?<

Actually, I am not certain what you are getting at here.... To become
interested in cryonics, a person has to be of the type who thinks for
himself, which does not necessarily mean that the person will have any
given amount of money. Redistribution of wealth could help in the case
of a person who thinks for him or herself but does not have a good
income.

I really do not see how your argument about the overall wealth of the
United States is relevant to whether or not wealth is the primary
problem.

FWIW, I think that getting accurate infomation out on cryonics is a major
problem, as is the general image of the organization and individuals
involved in cryonics. For example, the current arguments on politics
have been less than polite, which can make people have second thoughts
about whether or not to trust these people to help them circumvent death.
