OUR APOLOGIES - SA ANNOUNCES THUMPER AVAILABILITY AGAIN

In our announcement of last week regarding the availability of the new
Thumper, we inadvertently left off the price of the unit. The quantity
price for an order of ten or more Thumpers is $5,000.00. The normal unit
price is $7,000.  Again, SA makes no money on this offer, but hopes that
enough people will be interested to enable the community to obtain the
unit at this low price. Below is an abbreviated repeat of the original
information. Thanks to John Bull for pointing out our error. 

This Thumper (which is for use in cryonics applications only and is not
approved for use on live human patients) combines Dual Action ACD
operation and respiration integration in a clamp-over design that
simplifies operation in an ice bath or on a gurney. The design attaches
to either a base plate upon which the patient resides or side rail clamp
that can fasten it to the rails on the standard SA PIB, a gurney, or
other rail structure. When using the side rail clamp, the entire thumper
swings up and out of the way while the patient is transferred and then
swings down and is locked in place over the patient in one simple
motion. The unit does not extend beyond the confines of the PIB so that
it does not present a problem when passing through doorways. The design
accommodates very large persons as well as small ones and has very
simple stroke depth, decompression force, and ventilation volume
controls. Lastly, it operates either in continuous mode or in a 5:1
respiration sequence.
