X-Message-Number: 23598 From: "John de Rivaz" <> Subject: BBC's vote on New Scientist competition still open Date: Thu, 11 Mar 2004 19:28:34 -0000 I noticed on http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/2268181.stm that the BBC's vote on the New Scientist competition, now two years ago, is still open. Out of 3075 votes now cast, 21.59% would chose cryopreservation over the holiday that the eventual winner did chose. Although that is a minority, it isn't a small one and if every one of these people actually signed up, that'd be 663 people. If most of them lived in England, then we'd certainly be able to have a facility here. Thanks to everyone who emailed about Chrissie's tv appearance in New Zealand. some of her other TV transmissions about cryonics can be found on http://www.cryonics-europe.org under European media coverage in the navigation pane, or on the item under "latest" in the introduction pane. If you have broadband, you can get better quality files by clicking where told. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz: http://John.deRivaz.com for websites including Cryonics Europe, Longevity Report, The Venturists, Porthtowan, Alec Harley Reeves - inventor, Arthur Bowker - potter, de Rivaz genealogy, Nomad .. and more Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=23598
