An addendum to my comments directed to Bob Ettinger:

Isn't the essence of the debate over the existence of
an "experiencer" directly related to the presence or
not of conscious will?

Can you rightfully claim there is no "experiencer" and
at the same time claim that conscious will exists?

If conscious will is not an illusion (and I'm not
trying to make that case) and I choose to experience
event A vs. B, then it seems reasonable to conclude
that there is an "I" that experiences the consequences
of the choice.

I've only had time to briefly look at your Youniverse
website, so maybe this is obvious from your writings
there but are you then arguing that, in fact, there is
