Imagine if the boy had been considered "fresh" enough for organ donation
when declared dead.  (Or perhaps 22 months old is too young for that.)

Nevertheless, it is not too much of a stretch to conjecture that organs can
and do get 'donated' prematurely more often than is known.  I suppose that a
person could, in a way, extend their life through donating their organs, but
that would be missing the (subjective) point.  It would be better to support
cloning and stem cell technologies than rely on donated parts.

I would wager that Rudi advises his cryo-clients to make sure they are not
organ donors.  Or does that go without saying?  I wonder if organ donor
status has ever been a factor in cryonic preservation of patients.  Perhaps
we should take a moment to review the back of our respective drivers
licenses?
