(Or perhaps 22 months old is too young for that.) Nevertheless, it is not too much of a stretch to conjecture that organs can and do get 'donated' prematurely more often than is known. I suppose that a person could, in a way, extend their life through donating their organs, but that would be missing the (subjective) point. It would be better to support cloning and stem cell technologies than rely on donated parts. I would wager that Rudi advises his cryo-clients to make sure they are not organ donors. Or does that go without saying? I wonder if organ donor status has ever been a factor in cryonic preservation of patients. Perhaps we should take a moment to review the back of our respective drivers licenses? www.BladesOfLegend.com Message #24164 From: "Bryan Hall" <> Subject: Boy starts breathing as he's prepared for funeral Date: Fri, 28 May 2004 20:37:52 -0700 Toddler had been pronounced dead after drowning http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5085797/?GT1=3391 Goes to show the sometimes blurry line between life and death. -Bryan Hall Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=24166
