Reality isn't democratic.
An excellent point, John DeRivas.  Reality like "Flat or spherical earth" is 
not democratic.  

But issues like regulation and law ARE based on public sentiment.  Public 

sentiment IS related, if not a direct correleation, to laws that may affect our
future.  

So, the "ideas" future market is still interesting, and a valid construct. 

BTW, I found the name of the individual who was involved in promoting the 
"idea futures" market at a conference a few years back.  It is Stewart Brand.
