This weekend I attended the funeral of a 94 year old family member in an 
extremely rural area of Pennsylvania. The Minister who conducted the service 
told mourners that "chirogenics," [sic]  or having one's body frozen is simply 
"human folly" and a "selfish desire to deny the inevitability of death."
