When formalin is pumped into the cadaver, it does not necessarily penetrate all of the extremities. The brain is often insufficiently fixed. If this is the case, it will be soft and pink. To fix an unfixed brain keep it in a container of formalin after it has been removed from the skull.< Reading this made me Think. Undertakers do hundreds of perfusions if not thousands while the most experienced cryonics persons probably did less than a hundred at the best. Maybe the perfusion should be sourced out to undertakers. Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=24484
