Subject: More queries to Doug Skrecky

For Doug Skrecky:

The conflict between your quotation and what you said was that,
according to your quotation, some experimenters have gotten an
INCREASE in lifespan using resveratrol with fruitflies. You said
that you had not found such an increase, but for some reason
said that this experiment had resolved some questions & clarified
the role of resveratrol (this is not a quote, but what I understand
you to have meant. If I'm wrong please correct me).

You add in your recent answer to my query that most of the flies
in your experiments were "calorie deprived". The muddle gets even
worse when you state that; were you studying the effects of
calorie deprivation in your fruit flies, or the effects of the
various substances --- drugs, foods, etc etc that you were
giving them? Taken literally, this sounds like you have cast
dowbt on ALL your work with fruit flies. You weren't testing the
diet of fruit flies, but CR in fruit flies. Why then bother with
all the many substances you tried and reported on Cryonet?
What the hell were you doing, anyway?

Best wishes and long long life to all,

                 Thomas Donaldson
