Subject: life expectancy continues to rise

According to the latest statistics life expectancy for Canadian men has
increased 5.8 years from 1979 to 2002, to reach a new high of 77.2 years.
Canadian women have seen their life expectancy increase 3.3 years over
the same time period to 82.1 years. Assuming the average female life
expectancy yearly increase remains the same in future (0.143 years per
year), by the year 2100 life expectancy for Canadian women will have
increased to 95.9 years.
BTW: For comparison purposes life expectancy for American men is 74.4
years, and for American women 79.8 years.
