Subject: CRYONICS: Research

I agree very much with Mike Darwin and Thomas Donaldson that
research should be the number one priority in cryonics. I see it as a
matter of life-and-death. As a result, I have been investing money in
research since the 1960s when I first became involved in the cryonics
movement. As the years have gone by, I have become better at making
money and have thus been able to invest more money in research.
Last year, I spent a considerable amount of time trying to
persuade others to invest money in research, with only limited success.
I recently came to the conclusion that I can do more to support research
by working to make more money than by working to persuade others to
invest money in research.
However, I think it is still important to work to persuade
others to invest money in research. If someone out there with more
ability than I have for persuading others to invest money in research
would be willing to invest their time towards that end, it might do a
great deal to further progress in cryonics.
Please reply to this posting to me privately, not to CRYONET.
Thanks,

Saul Kent
