I have been following some but not all the postings on qualia and identity
with interest. It has been nice to read how individuals of great intellect
and creative thought can disagree on matters of substance and not be
disagreeable.

Richard, you comments today do seem particularly well written, displaying
great thought and "deep background" in how subprograms and evolution derived

programs in my brain create my sense of consciousness as I write these words.
And clarifying that the end goal of cryonics is to preserve this sense of
self.

So, forgive me if I missed if this was discussed earlier. But, may I ask if
you are personally signed up with a cryonics organization as of this moment?

I would be honored to bid on and earn your cryonics life insurance business.

I am licensed in some 28 states, and 80% of the folks on the planet who

signed up for cryonics last year did this owning life insurance provided by Rudi
Hoffman Cryonics Insurance.

The discussion on qualia and what comprises the experience of being human is
relevant, perhaps even central, to the theme of this bulletin board. But so
are practical questions like this one.

Respectfully,

Rudi Hoffman
