Francois in his message #25300 summarizes the problem quite well. As for
RB R, he still hasn't answered my questions and that is why I repeat
them.

I'm not going to repeat them again. I will state, however, that the
notion of "continuity" when you apply it to QEs requires a lot more
thought than RBR seems to have given it. I am claiming that we can
validly state that an exact recreation of me is the same as me, whether
or not there is a lapse of time between the previous version and the
recreation IN WHICH THE PLANS FOR ME WERE HELD AS A RECORD. 

Tell us, RBR, just how you define continuity of a QE; and then once
you have done so, tell us why your definition is better than one
which allows many more changes without a loss of continuity?
