Subject: cholesterol and bone marrow != aging

For Doug Skrecky:

Before you go off on policanol it would be appropriate to ask just what
it's supposed to be doing for aging, and tell us too. Yes, I know that
LE sells it, and the claim is that it reduces damage to our blood
vessels by cholesterol. Unfortunately heart and vascular disease do
not equate to aging. Many more accepted drugs may have the same effect,
but show no serious effect on aging.

As for our bone marrow causing our aging, our bodies (and even those
of C. elegans) are systems in which every part somehow affects
every other. Such a thesis looks weak to me.

Best wishes and long long life for all,

                Thomas Donaldson
