I don't know who's involved in the Cryonics Society -- I'll see
if anyone deigns to respond. Not my most eloquent; I'll try to
remember not to try to compose email in the tiny windows I find
get on Feedback pages. They discourage proofreading and editing
as well as reflection.

Cheers,
Kennita

-- Here's what I posted to the Feedback page --

Hello -- I have formed the Cryonics Advocacy Group, which I see as
being the infantry to your cavalry. My attendance at the recent Frozen
dead Guy Days made clear to me that I love to attend events where I can
explain to the public in person the promise of cryonics. I will be
looking for other such events to attend.

I feel concerned that messages I have seen about the Cryonics Society
seem to assume an adversarial posture -- that we in cryonics need to
devote significant resources to countering negative publicity. My own
view is that what we most need to do is to get the word out -- to
counter not negative publicity but complete lack of publicity. Thus I
see the goals of the Cryonics Society and the Cryonics Advocacy Group
as being complementary rather than redundant.

Please respond with your views.

Thank you,
Kennita Watson
