(I think that it was once Isaac Assimov who suggested this is a story.) Science explains the tools used, not the person that uses them. Jesus was supposed to have trained as a carpenter, and probably made tables and chairs. No one doubts that he would have used a hammer, chisel, and a saw. There is no argument about whether tables and chairs come from thin air or were made with the aid of these tools. Similarly Jesus told his followers to heal the sick and restore those given up for dead. I don't recall any admonition against using tools (such as herbs, or for that matter cryonics, genomics or whatever) to do this. I therefore conclude that those who are against healing, and the development of tools for this purpose, are against Jesus (and probably other religions) and not for him. Teaching nonsense in schools to prevent scientific advance is against what Jesus told his followers to achieve. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz: http://John.deRivaz.com for websites including Cryonics Europe, Longevity Report, The Venturists, Porthtowan, Alec Harley Reeves - inventor, Arthur Bowker - potter, de Rivaz genealogy, Nomad .. and more Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=26218
