FTR, I also believed the comment about the Post-It
notes (though if I'd thought about it I might have
been concerned about its possible consequences as
regards patient security).  The positive responses
to the concept, however, suggest that people like
the idea of leaving some sort of communication for
those in cryostasis.

I submit to any principals in Alcor, CI, and other
cryonics outfits that each patient be assigned a
notebook or folder into which open communications
(brief notes of the welcome-back style) might be
placed.  I suggest not putting them in a visible
place, so as not to create a competitive "who's the
best-loved cryonicist?" atmosphere, but it would
be nice to be able to express my feelings now; who
knows what tomorrow (or the next few hundred years)
will bring?
