  There was an interesting documentary about the Holocaust on the History
channel. In it, a rabbi in a concentration camp was quoted as saying that
God would not allow his people to perish. Later he sadly concluded that
there is no god. There are various "takes" on this revelation, but the one
which struck me the most, was what it took to force one irrational
person to see the blindingly obvious.
