Thanks for the support, Valera and Eric.

Debate in a forum like this won't change the views of anyone who 
posts. But for every person who posts, there are at least 10 or 
more passive readers (and countless others who find these messages 
through search engines). Making these people aware of the 
implications of patternism, for their own personal survival, can 
only be a good thing.

Since > 90% of the frequent posters here are patternists (Thomas, 
Mike, Scott, Flavonoid, Basie, Matthew, etc.; the list is endless), 
listeners might get the impression that patternism is an accepted 
and necessary part of cryonics. People like you, Robert, and 
myself, are here to refute that idea---to make it known you don't 
have to believe in the supernatural to be a cryonicist.

Mike Perry, I'll address your lengthy message tomorrow (my 4 post
