Write to the newspapers involved and demand
retractions (or request that errata be printed,
depending on how belligerent you're feeling).
"Indignant" is certainly called for.  Best not
to let the errors stand without comment, in
any case.  If you're lucky, you may get some
follow-up interviews by people who can properly
recount what was said to them.

Then again, it may be best to send well-written
press releases.  Writers are lazy^H^H^H^H busy,
and may print what you send them verbatim if it
is concise and of printable quality.

I'm sorry to hear about the misquotes, but not
particularly surprised; chalk it up to
experience :-/ .  Good luck getting them
corrected.
