X-Message-Number: 26679 Date: Sat, 23 Jul 2005 00:18:13 -0400 From: Thomas Donaldson <> Subject: soon sending out latest PERIASTRON Hello everyone on Cryonet: Today is my Saturday. I will be sending out another issue of my cryonics newsletter PERIASTRON when my Monday rolls around. If you haven't seen an issue but would like to, or if you wish to renew an old subscription to it, then send me an email on what you want. One issue costs $4.00 US, and you can subscribe for one issue only if that's what you want to do. You may or may not like one major fact about PERIASTRON: it's very technical. I do my best to make it understandable, but you'll learn more about the subjects I discuss (mainly how memory works, how identity works, and methods for dealing with lack of blood flow or oxygen to your brain). Whenever I can get them, I also discuss work on vitrification, but papers on vitrification aren't common enough to support a cryonics newsletter looking at the scientific and technical issues involved. I print such papers when they come up, though of course with a delay (if you're REALLY interested in the technology and science behind cryonics, nothing keeps you from going to the closest university library, logging onto their net (if they let you) and reading papers relating to cryonics yourself). So there is PERIASTRON. If you want to see an issue, tell me by email that you've sent me $4.00 US or more, and I'll mail off the latest issue to you (I'll need your mailing address too, of course). Best wishes and long long life to all, Thomas Donaldson Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=26679
