Subject: Membership Numbers Clarified
From: "Joe Waynick" <>

Like the vast majority of cryonicists, Alcor understands the importance of
openly disclosing the number of members who are fully funded with
completed paperwork in an uncomplicated and straightforward manner.

The current number of fully funded Alcor members who have completed their
paperwork is 758. In addition, we are presently caring for 68 patients.

Our membership number can be found in a variety of ways. First, Alcor
publishes its membership numbers in its monthly board report (available to
anyone who cares to ask via eMail at ), it is published on
our website, it is published monthly in Alcor News, it is published
bi-monthly in Cryonics magazine, and I even include the membership and
patient figures in the signature that appears at the bottom of all of my
eMail correspondence.

Clearly, the number of fully funded members is an indicator of the
strength and future viability of your organization. The better-financed
organization has a strong advantage over the less financially stable
organization. In addition to receiving the best cryopreservation possible
with todays technology, Alcor members have the assurance that they are
backed by the largest and most financially stable cryonics firm in
existence.
