Subject: Response to Bob Ettinger - Testing Solutions
From: "Joe Waynick" <>

Mr. Ettinger makes an important point when he says nobody--has yet
vitrified a whole mammalian brain and quantified the results in various
segments and subsegments. I think that is an important and necessary bit
of work and I want our membership to know that Alcor is currently
considering those issues as a research project.

I am still hopeful that Alcor and CI will find common ground on which we
can jointly sponsor research. With everything that needs to be done, I
find it hard to believe that it is so difficult to agree on a mutual
project. Perhaps Mr. Ettinger can offer a few suggestions now that a
little time has passed since my visit to Michigan.

For many years prior to the suspension of Jerry Leaf and the departure of
Mike Darwin, Alcor clearly lead the industry in cryonics research. A great
deal of their intellectual capital has been documented and still remains
the property of Alcor. But you have heard it first on Cryonet, Alcor has a
couple of major announcements to make in the coming weeks to demonstrate
to the membership our commitment to pick up where these two visionaries
left off and continue our leadership role in cryonics research.

I am cautiously optimistic that we can find common ground with CI to
sponsor joint projects that benefit the entire industry. And it is still
my intention to do so with the help of Ben Best.

Joe Waynick, CEO/President, Alcor Life Extension Foundation
