There has been a lot of discussion on the news about the Avian Flu threat.
If the virus mutates so that person-to-person transmission is possible, it

As I write this, I am looking at the cover story on my latest issue of

National Geographic. There is a man in a hazmat suit. The title is "The Next

Killer Flu...Can We Stop It?" Haven't read it yet, but I read NG along with 15
other science/nature/technology magazines cover to cover most months.

NG is not usually alarmist in nature, so there certainly may be a threat

here. We can add, "Getting stuck in a quarantine area" as another risk to not
having a good or even serviceable suspension.

On a more positive note, as a member of Immortality Institute, I was honored
to get a hardback book sent to me out the blue. That I wanted to read! A
promo for an Arginine drink mix, 3 were included in the mailing.

"Fantastic Voyage, Live Long Enough to Live Forever" by Ray Kurzweil and

Terry Grossman is a GREAT book. Very inspiring. I was up reading at 3 am this
morning, finding it fascinating.

Although I am dissapointed there is not a single reference to cryonics in
the index, or so far in the text.

Kind Regards,

Rudi
