Subject: More on J. Sparks' idea

Hi everyone!

Jordan Sparks has a good idea, and a simple way to start it: we form
a vetting organization for cryonics. Over time it could even start
to have teeth: for instance, each cryonics suspension association in
the vetting organization periodically inspects one or more of the
others.

Among the advantages of such an organization, we could each help
one another against stupid authorities. We're competing individually
against one another, but have a joint interest against inappropriate
regulations.

It need not even begin large. If the suspension and storage operations
get together and incorporate such an organization with officers
taken from each of them, that would be enough as a start. I mean that
literally: the constitution of such an organization may be as simple
as possible, with provisions for amendments.

I am actually willing to write such a constitution, but given my
present location could probably not participate in any large way
in whatever activities it chooses.

And of course I'm interested in comments on Cryonet re this idea.

Best wishes and long long life for all,

                Thomas Donaldson
