X-Message-Number: 27247 From: Subject: SE Michigan Cryonics/Life Extension Potluck & Lecture Date: Thu, 20 Oct 2005 05:12:26 GMT In an attempt to foster networking among everyone interested in life extension and cryonics living in the greater Detroit area I have mailed the following announcement to Cryonics Institute Members in the Southeast Michigan area. Although the event is being held at the Cryonics Institute facility, I very much urge anyone interested in life extension or cryonics living in SouthEast Michigan or nearby to attend. There is much to be learned and gained by establishing contacts with nearby people with like-minded goals. -- Ben Best ******************************************************************* Cryonics/Life Extension Potluck & Lecture Sunday, October 23 6pm Cryonics Institute Facility 24355 Sorrentino Court; Clinton Township, MI 48035 (586) 791-5961 [CIHQ(at)aol.com] The potluck dinner and lecture will be for all those interested in cryonics and life extension, not just Cryonics Institute Members. Please bring friends, family and acquaintances who might be interested and some food to share. The dinner will begin at 6pm. This will be an opportunity to meet others who share the same interests, many of whom will be Cryonics Institute Members. The 7pm lecture will be in a different area of the building than the potluck dinner. Those who are only interested in the dinner & social can continue eating & socializing without attending the lecture. Those interested in the lecture, but not the potluck can arrive slightly before 7pm. This lecture will have a life extension theme: Free Radicals and AntiOxidant Supplements with me (Ben Best) as the speaker. Although the subject is technical, I have given this lecture before and believe that I have made it simple enough for nearly everyone to understand. The length of the lecture should be between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the interest and the questions. The purpose of this event is to help people in life extension and cryonics in the Detroit area to get to know each other better for information exchange and mutual support. Especially for those interested in being cryopreserved in good condition, mutual aid can be very beneficial under many difficult circumstances.
